Gangasagar Mela is the world’s second-largest human congregation, held at the sacred confluence of the holy river Ganga and the Bay of Bengal, following the renowned Kumbh Mela. In a groundbreaking initiative, members of the WEST BENGAL RADIO CLUB will activate "BOTA", "IOTA" & "WLOTA" for the this time on Gangasagar Island. Using their special event callsign AU2WBRC, this activation will take place during the grand occasion of the 'Gangasagar Mela,' marking a significant moment in both amateur radio and cultural history.
